Not every job needs full-size secateurs. These micro secateurs are made for light pruning, deadheading and trimming herbs and houseplants — small enough to slip into an apron pocket and precise enough for the fiddly cuts.

The comfort-grip handle comes in a soft olive green from Burgon & Ball's Collectors range, and an easy-to-use lock keeps the blades safely closed between jobs. With a five-year guarantee and a candy-striped gift box, they make a charming present for indoor plant lovers.
