A sturdy three-pronged claw for breaking up compacted soil, working in compost and weeding between plants — the tool for getting veggie beds ready for spring planting.

Burgon & Ball forge their BoronGreen tools from recycled boron steel, which is stronger and tougher than ordinary carbon steel without the extra weight. A garden-green powder coating guards against rust (and makes it easy to spot when you put it down in the border), and the handle is FSC-certified ash. Endorsed by the RHS and guaranteed for 25 years.
