Description
The Gold Fiore is the one people always stop and look at twice. In the teardrop Drop shape — Lumiz's most dramatic silhouette — the Fiore floral cut-work casts a lacy pattern of petals and stems across any surface it touches. The gold Tyvek glows amber after dark, warm and candlelit in quality, nothing like the cold white of a generic solar light.
At 28cm, this is a proper statement piece. Hang it from a pergola beam, a shepherd's hook, or a verandah joist and it becomes the centrepiece of the whole outdoor space. Two hung at slightly different heights above an outdoor dining table is one of our favourite combinations.
Made from weather-resistant, UV-stable Tyvek — completely waterproof and built for New Zealand conditions. The integrated solar panel charges during the day and the LED glows for up to eight to ten hours after dusk. No wiring, no batteries, no timer.

The outer shell is made from Tyvek. Tyvek is a brand of durable, versatile synthetic material made from high-density polyethylene fibers byDuPont. It is known for being water-resistant and tear-resistant, combining properties of paper, film, and fabric. It is very strong, weather resistant, durable and colorfast.
Yes, the material is weatherproof and colorfast. Rain, snow or bright sun? the LUMIZ can be left hanging outside!
Wrap the Velcro around the metal bar on the underside of the LUMIZ together with the bar of the ring. Give it a nice spot in the sun. Have fun!
Yes, we have the option of self-pickup from our store at 62 Montgomery Square Nelson....or we can courier to you.
Yes, but you have to take into account that no direct sunlight will fall on the LUMIZ indoors. As a result, the battery will not be able to store energy and the LED light will not burn / not for long / less strongly in the evening. Direct sunlight on the solar panel gives the best result.
Tip: a normal AAA battery also fits in the LUMIZ. The LUMIZ will burn in a dark environment.
At dark it will come into effect, during (sun) light it will not be charged.
