For this issue, we set off in search of some sunshine and sea air off France's Atlantic coast, where the rhythm of the tides still dictates daily life. Our interior features include a forgotten 15th century farmhouse in the Luberon, an artisan's earthy yet minimalist home in Marseille and a guesthouse amid ancient woodlands in Normandy's Calvados region.

And of course, no Summer is complete without good food and good company, with recipes shared and meals enjoyed beside the glittering sea.
