Woodland Gauntlet Gloves-Burgon & Ball
Description
For the gardener who tends their patch with both purpose and pleasure, these gauntlet gloves from Burgon & Ball are a considered companion. Designed in collaboration with the RHS, the Woodland Wonders pattern draws from the Lindley Collections — the RHS's archive of historic botanical art — weaving eighteenth and early nineteenth century illustrations of berries, leaves, birds, and insects across a deep forest-green ground.
Beneath the beauty, they are built to work. A cushioned palm absorbs the labour of the garden, a gathered wrist keeps debris where it belongs, and the deep gauntlet cuff offers that extra reach when the brambles encroach. The fabric has a gentle stretch, so one size accommodates most, and when the season is done, they go straight into the machine at 30°C.
A gift for the woodland gardener, the botanical enthusiast, or anyone who believes that the tools of the garden deserve to be as lovely as the garden itself.
