      Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Bowl 15cm

The bowl that belongs at every place setting.

The Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Bowl at 15cm is the classic small bowl of the cabbageware family — the sculptural cabbage leaf form, glazed in the iconic Bordallo green and handcrafted in Portugal with the same artisan care that has defined the maison since 1884. At this size, it is endlessly versatile: a soup bowl, a side for salad or vegetables, a breakfast bowl for yoghurt and fruit, or a small serving dish for condiments and dips.

It sits naturally within the full Cabbage collection — pair it with the dinner plates, platters, and serving pieces for a complete table, or build your set gradually, piece by piece, as the best collections always are.

      Bordallo Pinheiro

The cabbage, fleshy and wrinkled, flattened in shape, could serve as a metaphor for the rusticity of Portugal, a country Bordallo satirized so often. It was a clever way of paying homage to it, placing it at the center of bourgeois tables, where, otherwise, it would not have been invited. And today, our cabbage is an essential element on any table and in any setting, admired by young and old alike, blooming in various colors: Green, White, and Pink!
