Bordallo Pinheiro Grove Hare Plate-24cm
Description
For those who like a little wildness at the table.
The Bordallo Pinheiro Grove Hare Plate is part of the Grove collection — a departure from the classic cabbage motif into the world of the woodland, where a hand-painted hare takes centre stage against an earthenware ground. The detail is characterful and precise: the kind of piece that draws a second look from across the table and prompts a conversation.
At 24cm, it works beautifully as a side plate or a standalone decorative piece. Hand-painted in Portugal with Bordallo Pinheiro's signature craft, it mixes naturally with the Cabbage dinnerware range for a table that feels layered, collected, and full of personality.

Bordallo Pinheiro
The cabbage, fleshy and wrinkled, flattened in shape, could serve as a metaphor for the rusticity of Portugal, a country Bordallo satirized so often. It was a clever way of paying homage to it, placing it at the center of bourgeois tables, where, otherwise, it would not have been invited. And today, our cabbage is an essential element on any table and in any setting, admired by young and old alike, blooming in various colors: Green, White, and Pink!
